Infants
At Kids at Heart, we are proud of our infant program. We believe infants need a safe, nurturing environment to foster total development. Your infant’s day at Kids at Heart is planned around his/her schedule. Everything about your child’s day will be recorded on the daily report given to you at the end of the day. Your child’s teacher will also develop an individual monthly skills plan to promote your child’s development.
Please make sure the Director thoroughly covers these points with you...
• Staff-Child ratio of 1:3
• Daily Board and Report
• You need to bring: diapers, wipes, pacifier, bottle, tippy cup, baby food, formula, and several changes of clothing
• You may also bring: diaper ointment, as needed and a special/security blanket
• ***Please remember to clearly mark all items brought from home***
• Kids at Heart provides a free of charge milk-based iron-fortified formula and cereal. If you choose to use another formula, you will need to provide it.
